Thank You

As our holiday season winds to a close, our thoughts are on the gratitude we feel for our community. First, we’d like to thank all the teachers and staff at Loma Prieta Elementary and C.T. English middle schools. We are thankful from the bottom of our hearts for all you do each day for your students. MalalaYousafzai said, “Let us remember: One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world”, and we couldn’t agree more.

THANK YOU to everyone who turned out to vote in support of Measure M. This will provide our schools with a critical and stable source of funding. Our teachers at Loma Prieta Elementary and C.T. English middle schools are among the lowest paid in Santa Clara County. We cannot retain our wonderful teaching staff or recruit new ones without the ability to offer competitive salaries. Additionally, this will help fund curriculum that will prepare our students to thrive in a competitive high school environment. Finally, an enormous thank you to the families and community members who have extended their time, resources, and talents to support Loma Public Education Fund this year. We are so grateful to you all! We hope your holidays have been filled with joy and wish you a wonderful new year filled with good health, prosperity, and love. May 2023 be your best year yet!

Loma Public Education Fund

LPEF believes that education is the basis of opportunity. Our mission is ensure that each child in our school district has access to a curriculum that enables them to grow and thrive and be able to respond to future opportunities.

LPEF raises funds to support critical co-curricular programs at our schools. We award the money to the district  as specific program grants.

With the help of LPEF grants our children get exposure to learning opportunities they may otherwise go without.

LPEF grants bridge the gap between what our schools receive in government  funding and the cost to educate each student.

The value of engagement

"It takes a combined effort from local support and 100% participation from our families to offer our students exceptional programs."
Former LPJUSD Superintendent, Lisa Fraser

The importance of giving

"It was eye-opening to me to learn how much our schools rely on LPEF donations to fund Art and Music, Physical Education, Library Services, K-8 Student Support Services and Technology programs. Without the donations from families such as yours, these programs would not exist."
Former LPEF President, Mike Riese
