The Loma Public Education Fund (LPEF) was created in 2001 and exists solely to raise money for the Loma Prieta Joint Union School District.LPEF Governing board members are volunteer parents and community members that meet regularly with the LPJUSD superintendent, principal, teachers and parents to develop funding priorities for our two local schools - Loma Prieta Elementary school and C.T. English Middle school.
Each year, our board meets with school officials to set funding goals and grant priorities. We gather information from parents using an online survey. This allows the LPEF to set priorities in line with parents, teachers and administrators, and communicate our goals for the school year.
Monies are awarded by LPEF to the District - LPJUSD, as specific program grants and include accountability requirements and measurement criteria.
