Company Matching

With your help, your employer can make a world of difference locally in our schools.

  • Corporations - as part of their social responsibility initiative, earmark funds specifically for nonprofit organizations to match employee donations.
  • Many companies match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio.Check with your HR department.
  • Many companies donate to nonprofit organizations based on the number of volunteer hours employees give to the organization.
  • Contributions to LPEF are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.

How can I check if I can get company matching?

  1. Make a Donation to LPEF that your company can match. DONATE HERE                                                or contact us at Treasurer@lpef.org.
  2. Check that your employer has a Corporate Matching Gift program and a Corporate Volunteer hours program.
    1. If your company has a Matching Grant Form, please include it with your completed LPEF Donation Form. LPEF will complete the form for you.
    2. If your company’s Matching is processed online and Loma Prieta or LPEF is not listed, you can usually add LPEF as a new charity via the website or online tool your employer supplies.
  3. If your company does not have a Matching Grant Form, simply provide your company’s name on the LPEF Donation.
