The Loma Public Education Fund (LPEF) was created in 2001 and exists solely to raise money for the Loma Prieta Joint Union School District. Governing board members meet regularly with the superintendent, principal, teachers and parents to develop funding priorities.  Monies are awarded by LPEF to the District as specific program grants and include accountability requirements and measurement criteria. 

About LPEF

Fundraising for the 2012-2013 school year is now closed.  Any new donations made after June 30th, 2012 will be applied to the 2013-2014 school year. Donations can be made in one time payments or monthly payments. Payments can be made by check or online using PayPal. (PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express).

The Loma Public Education Fund will

be holding the 3rd annual “best ball”

charity golf tournament on Friday,

May 17th at DeLaveaga Golf Course

in Santa Cruz.


This golf, raffle, auction and dinner event raises money “Fore The Kids” of the Loma Prieta School District.

KEEP Is our direct donation campaign and our goal is $150,000.  Although we do have suggested donation amounts of $800 for one child and $1200 for two or more, any donation amount is greatly appreciated and will help our community reach the overall fundraising goal for the 2013/2014 school year of $450,000. Course - 9 holes or 18 holes

Entry Fee - $175 per person / $600 per foursome


Registration for the event is open! Entry fee includes green fee, cart, range balls, bag lunch, on course beverages and dinner. Tournament is limited to the first 144 paid participants.
