Our Raison d'etre


LPEF exists solely to raise money for the Loma Prieta school district. Thanks to fantastic parent and community support, since its inception in 1995, LPEF has raised over One Million dollars!  Governing board members meet regularly with the superintendent, principal, teachers and parents to develop funding priorities.  Monies are awarded as specific program grants to the district, which include accountability requirements and measurement criteria. 

Our philosophy

LPEF believes that the best educational experience is one that blends academics, the arts and sports. It is our goal to work with the District to develop coordinated funding strategies that best benefit all our students.
